Mohammed Idris
A son of former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Idris, said he dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) because the manner the party conducts its affairs is appalling.
The former member of House of Representatives who represented Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, is the son of ex-Governor Ibrahim Idris who was elected in April 2003 and reelected in April 2007.
The younger Idris dumped the APC and returned to his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at an official ceremony in his Icheke Ward in Omala Local Government Area Friday.
According to him, he is not comfortable with the manner the ruling party was conducting its affairs at state and national levels.
“My head, neck and soul is for the PDP,” the former lawmaker said.
Apex News gathered that at the occasion, Alhaji Idris burnt a broom, the symbol of APC, signifying his disgust for the APC.
