The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) congratulates Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his overwhelming success at the Special Convention and subsequent unchallengeable emergence as the party’s flagbearer in the 2023 Presidential election.
The state chairman of the party, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani has no doubt that delegates who participated at the primary made the best choice.

“Needless to say that our dear Presidential flagbearer has overtime demonstrated his leadership prowess through the mentoring of many prominent Nigerians to exhalted positions, he set up a strong development plan for Lagos as its two times governor which the state is still benefitting from as the subsequent leadership is being handled by his beneficiaries.
“We also commend President Muhammadu Buhari for allowing internal democracy in the party which demonstrated his earlier stand of not imposing or annointing any candidate, we are proud to be associated with his achievements and policies that benefit Nigerians,” he said.
The chairman noted that the national leadership of the party under Senator Abdullahi Adamu has done the party members across the nation proud on how he was able to manage the challenges upto the level of conducting free, fair and credible special convention that is acceptable to all meaning Nigerians.
Danfulani noted that “As for the people of Zamfara, we are very confident that if such a committed leader takes over as president, we shall be part of the early beneficiaries of the administration which will significantly address the issue of insecurity and bring it to a conclusive end.”
He commended northern governors of the party for coming together to support the shifting of the mantle of the nation’s leadership to the South and supporting the emergence of the best candidate.
The chairman said the party in Zamfara has become more united and formidable through the support and initiatives of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle where lots of progress are being made.
