Adamawa Police Command reviews operations to enhance security ahead of ember months, 2027 elections campaigns
The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Kabir Umar Hassan holds a strategic review meeting with the Senior Management Team, Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), Heads of Departments and other senior officers of the Command.
This meeting was specifically convened to assess security operations for the month of August and to strengthen security arrangements ahead of the ‘Ember Months’ and the forthcoming electioneering period.
This was contained in a statement in Yola by Adamawa State Police Command spokesman SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje.
Hassan said, the meeting focused on emerging security trends, operational effectiveness, and measures required to sustain the peace and security being enjoyed across the State.
Briefing senior officers and men of the command, the Commissioner commended the officers for their dedication and commitment to duty, particularly in maintaining security within their respective Areas of Responsibility.
He charged them to remain professionals, proactive and responsive to the security needs of members of the public.
The Command however assured residents of Adamawa State of its commitment to maintaining peace, protecting lives and property, ensuring a safe and secure environment throughout the Ember Months and the forthcoming electioneering period.
