Taraba Governor Kefas condoles with former minister Ikenya over loss of brother
Taraba state governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has condoled with former minister of labour, Senator Joel Ikenya, over the death of his younger brother, Mr. Peter Ikenya.
In a statement by Emmanuel Bello,
Special Adviser Media and Digital Communications to Governor, Kefas said the loss of a younger one or any member of one’s immediate family is a bitter pill too hard to swallow.
He consoled the former minister, stressing that death, though very painful, was an inevitable end to this life.
Describing the deceased, Dr. Kefas said Peter Ikenya was the epitome of a gentleman who exuded charisma and friendship. He noted further that although Peter’s life ended too soon, he made an impact in the life of those that associated with him.
Paying further tributes, Governor Kefas said Peter’s life exemplifies the adage that it is not how long a man lives but how well.
While praying for the repose of his soul, Governor Kefas wished the Ikenya family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
