The Member of the House of Representatives representing Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Hon Mansur Manu Sọ̀rọ̀, has been commended for impactful and purposeful representation of the area leading to unprecedented development.
The commendation was contained in an open letter of appreciation addressed to the Member by a constituent, Auwal Usman Ṣadé of Sade District, Darazo LGA, dated 25th September, 2026.
Auwal Usman wrote, “You are the best House of Representatives Member in the history of Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency. I, Auwal Usman Sade, a proud son of Sade, write this with joy to declare what we all in Darazo and Ganjuwa already know – that you, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, remain the best Representative we have ever produced since 1999.”
He further wrote,”Why you are the best in history: While others came and went without a legacy, you came and built institutions that will outlive us. We are really grateful for that.”
According to him, “In Education, you built 5 schools we never had – Gifted Schools in Sade, Soro, Darazo, Kafin Madaki and Special School, Lanzai where our children learn free of charge.”
“In Higher Education, you brought a University to our doorstep – Natio Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Soro Study Centre – and gave full scholarship to 200 of our sons and daughters, including my humble self who benefited from your educational grand in ABU Zaria,” he added.
The Constituent added, “In Healthcare, you built 4 Pediatric Hospitals in Sade, Soro, Gabarin and Miya, to save our mothers and children. In Agriculture, you gave our dry-season farmers hope with DAGACOM solar pumps at subsidized rate.”
Auwal Usman further wrote, “Hon. Sir, for over 20 years of this Constituency, no Representative has done what you did in just 4 years. You did not eat our money, you invested it in us. Even as you have announced not to contest in 2027, your name is already written in gold in the history of Darazo/Ganjuwa.”
“On behalf of all students and youths of Sade District, I say thank you. You have set a standard that will be very difficult for anyone coming after you to meet. May Allah bless and reward you abundantly.”
