Governor Radda mourns Hajia Amina Yahaya Gachi
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has mourned the passing of Hajia Amina Yahaya Gachi, who died on Monday, at the age of 80
Governor Radda said Hajia Amina lived a fulfilled life defined by faith, devotion and uncommon sacrifice to humanity.
He noted that the late matriarch raised accomplished and responsible citizens who are contributing meaningfully to the development of Katsina State and Nigeria at large across public service, engineering, architecture, and other fields.
Governor Radda, on behalf of the Government and good people of Katsina State, extends his heartfelt condolences to the entire Yahaya family.
Hajia Amina is survived by nine children, including Dr. Shamsuddeen Yahaya, Permanent Secretary, Public Service Reforms; Engr. Yusuf Yahaya, Project Coordinator, Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP); Arc. Zainab Yahaya, Lecturer at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic; and Hajia Uwani Yahaya, wife of the Emir of Lere, among other siblings.
The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive her shortcomings, reward her good deeds, and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for strength and comfort for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
