Lalong spoke when he attended the Plateau State Town Hall Meeting, inauguration and membership drive of the Cityboy Movement held at Crispan Hotel, Jos.
The former Governor commended the organisers for creating a platform for young Nigerians to participate actively in political and civic engagement, describing their commitment to supporting the Renewed Hope Administration as an indication of their confidence in the programmes and policies of the Federal Government.
He said the administration of President Tinubu had continued to recognise the importance of Nigerian youths by involving them in governance and implementing programmes designed to promote empowerment, entrepreneurship and economic opportunities.
According to him, the active participation of young people remains important to the success of national development efforts, urging members of the movement to sustain their mobilisation and remain committed to constructive engagement in their communities.
Lalong assured the leadership and members of the Cityboy Movement of his support and collaboration as they expand their membership and mobilisation activities across Plateau State.
He said he was ready to work with the movement and other stakeholders towards the target of mobilising one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Plateau State in the 2027 general elections.
The Senator congratulated the movement on the successful inauguration and membership drive, urging its members to remain united, organised and focused on their stated objectives.
He also encouraged the leadership to continue engaging young people across the state and creating greater awareness about the programmes and opportunities available under the Renewed Hope Administration.
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang also praised the Cityboy Movement in Plateau describing it as a strategic platform for the youths to deliver the President and other candidates of the APC.
State Director David Daser said the Cityboy Movement in Plateau State is poised to changing the narrative and creating a political record that is difficult to beat.
