2027 elections: Progressive Middle Belt Congress, Hon. Omale vows to deliver 11-12m votes for President Tinubu

The Director General of the Progressive Middle Belt Congress (PMBC), Hon Halidu Omale has vowed to deliver 11-12 million votes for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the upcoming presidential elections in 2027 with a mass mobilization and sensitization campaign cutting across the Middle Belt Zone which according to him comprises 15 states that goes beyond the official North Central geopolitical zone.
An upbeat Hon Halidu Omale made this revelation in an exclusive chat with newsmen at a three-day awareness and sensitisation campaign on Wednesday 7th of October 2026 at the Madaki Suites, Maitama, Abuja
The theme of the campaign,
‘Renewed Hope Agenda and Nigeria’s Developmental Benefits, Challenges, Prospects and the Hope for a New Nigeria,’ brought together political leaders, government representatives, civil society groups, traditional and community leaders and other stakeholders from across the region.
An erudite Hon Halidu Omale observed that the Middle Belt region have good reason to massively support President Tinubu as he has been very fair and equitable to the zone in terms of appointments including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Attorney General of the Federation, the APC National Chairman, the INEC Chairman, the Managing Director of NNPCL, the Executive Secretary, TETFUND, and CEOs of Nigerian Shippers Council, National Population Commission amongst other strategic appointments: ‘President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has been very fair and protective of the interests of the Middle Belt in his appointments and we should return the honour he accorded us by turning out massively to vote for him and the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 elections and we the Progressive Middle Belt Congress will mobilize over 11 million voters for his cause, come rain, come shine.’
The reforms of Mr President in incubating the North Central Development Commission, local government financial autonomy, electricity decentralisation, livestock-sector reforms, security initiatives and increased fiscal resources are beneficial to our people and we have urged them not to throw out the baby with the bathwater’.
In those sectors that Mr President needs to do more, we should vote for him so that he can complete those reform policies’.
A reflective Hon Halidu Omale also hailed the state police initiative stating that ‘a policeman who is indigenous to an area can fish out dubious characters far better and faster than a policemen who is stranger. The creation of state police will root out insecurity and crime from our shores as the officers detailed to fight crime know the terrain better than a federal policeman who is a stranger to the terrain’.
Hon Halidu Omale concluded by calling for the strengthening of local government autonomy so that the local government councils can better take care of the grassroots while repeating his vow to deliver the entire Middle Belt to President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress: ‘The opposition or whoever they choose to call themselves should forget about the entire Middle Belt as it is APC territory as far as the Progressive Middle Belt Congress is concerned. We will completely deliver our zone to the APC, so the so-called opposition should not waste their time and should look elsewhere for votes’ – a supremely confident, Hon Halidu Omale concluded.
Harping on the same theme, a PMBC stakeholder, Comrade Matifu Precious also called on the Middle Belt and Nigerians as a whole to support President Tinubu assuring them that he will put the nation on an irreversible path of growth, prosperity and greatness when re-elected in 2027: ‘Like l keep telling people, Rome was not built in a day and what has been destroyed for over 60 years cannot be repaired overnight and for the last three years plus, President Tinubu has been spending time to reintegrate every sector and put them on a path of prosperity and by 2027, his consolidation agenda will bring about more transformation and a renewed economy that will bring the nation on the threshold of growth, greatness and prosperity’.
