The Katsina Amalgamated Youth Entrepreneurs Development Cooperative Union has endorsed President Bola Tinubu, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, for re-election in 2027, citing their support for entrepreneurship, economic empowerment and grassroots development.

The endorsement was made Tuesday during a courtesy visit to Governor Radda by over 5,000 women beneficiaries of KASEDA initiatives, led by the agency’s Director-General, Dr. Babangida Kabir Ruma, at Government House, Katsina

Speaking during the visit, Governor Radda thanked the beneficiaries for their support and participation in government-backed empowerment programmes, noting that small-scale businesses play an important role in job creation, improving livelihoods and stimulating economic growth.

He urged the beneficiaries to make productive use of the support received to expand their businesses, increase their income and achieve greater financial independence.

The Governor commended KASEDA for implementing initiatives aimed at supporting entrepreneurs, empowering women and strengthening small businesses across the state.

He urged the agency to sustain its engagement with beneficiaries across the 34 local government areas to ensure effective programme implementation and meaningful impact.

Earlier, the Director-General of KASEDA, Dr. Babangida Kabir Ruma, said the delegation comprised beneficiaries of the agency’s empowerment initiatives from across Katsina State who came to express appreciation for the government’s support for entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.

Dr. Ruma explained that the visit also provided an opportunity for the beneficiaries to declare their support for the re-election of Governor Radda and President Tinubu in 2027.

He commended the administration for promoting business development, self-reliance and grassroots economic empowerment.

The endorsement was made under the theme, “5,000 Women: We Support and Endorse Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dikko Umaru Radda for Re-election in 2027,” through a programme organised by the Katsina Amalgamated Youth Entrepreneurs Development Cooperative Union in collaboration with the Katsina State Ministry of Women Affairs.
