NASME president, Sir Nnoron mourns military officers, condoles Tinubu, NAF over plane crash

The National President, Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, (NASME), Sir Theo Nnoron has expressed profound grief over the tragic death of 32 military Officers and personnel in a Nigerian military aircraft crash in Igbokoda, Ondo State.

The National President described the unfortunate incident as sorrowful and painful national calamity and a huge loss to their families, Nigerian Armed Forces.

In a press statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Gadafi Asemanya Jnr, Sir Nnoron stressed that the nation has lost gallant personnel who sacrificed their lives for the Nation in protection of Father land,to keep peace and stability.

NASME President conveyed his deepest condolences to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Tinubu, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, the Nigerian Air Force, and the families, Friends,colleagues and loved ones,Well wishers of the deceased.

Sir Nnoron said the sacrifices of the fallen heros who put their lives in the forefront in line with their professionalism would not be forgotten and urged members of the Armed Forces continue to demonstrate exceptional courage and patriotism in the discharge and defence of our country territorial integrity and Protection of lives and Properties.

He appealed to the President to immortalise the military officers and personnel who lost their lives and provide scholarships for their children.

Sir Nnoron called for urgent and thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to the crash, to establishing the real cause of the crash and taking prioactive and appropriate measures to prevent same occurrence in the near future.

According to the statement, the President of NASME equally commended the various authorities, emergency agencies and the community, local fisher men and farmers who are first responders for their roles, efforts and support following the crash.

Sir Nnoron prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed and asked God to grant their families, colleagues, friends and the entire Nigerian military the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
