The leadership of the City Boy Movement, Bauchi State Chapter, has intensified efforts to strengthen the grassroots structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections, as part of a strategic drive to ensure effective mobilisation and coordination across the state.
On Monday, the State Director of the Movement, Ja’afar Ibrahim Dass, alongside Zonal and Local Government Coordinators, paid a strategic visit to the APC State Working Committee under the leadership of the State Chairman, Mohammed Hassan Tilde.
The meeting provided an important platform for constructive engagement, strategic discussions, and the development of modalities aimed at deepening cooperation between the party structure and the City Boy Movement at the grassroots.
The meeting focused extensively on strengthening grassroots mobilisation, expanding the organisational capacity of the City Boy Movement, and ensuring effective coordination across the Local Government Areas, wards, and communities of Bauchi State.

The leadership emphasised the need to build a functional political structure that goes beyond the Local Government level and extends directly into the wards and immediate communities where the people live and where the bulk of electoral support is generated.
Through proper coordination, registration, engagement, mobilisation, and continuous interaction with the people, the Movement is positioning itself to contribute meaningfully to the APC’s preparations for the 2027 elections.
The City Boy Movement is being developed as a people-oriented grassroots political structure capable of reaching communities directly, understanding the concerns and aspirations of the people, and mobilising them towards a common political objective.
The strategy is to establish strong and disciplined structures across the Local Governments and wards, while ensuring that Coordinators and grassroots leaders remain actively connected to the electorate.
These efforts are designed to create the necessary mobilisation network that will support the victory of the APC at all levels, from the Presidency and Governorship to the National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections, through sustained grassroots engagement and effective political coordination.
As part of the engagement, the leadership of the City Boy Movement also visited the State Headquarters of the Movement in New GRA, Bauchi.
The Coordinator of the City Boy Movement in Toro Local Government, Sani Danaudi Mohammed, expressed his appreciation and commendation to the State Director, Ja’afar Ibrahim Dass, and the State Coordinator, Lumana Bayero Halan (El-Bee Halan), for their strategic leadership, commitment, and determination to build a strong and disciplined grassroots political platform.
He noted that the level of organisation and vision being demonstrated by the State leadership is creating a solid foundation for the City Boy Movement to emerge as one of the leading platforms for effective grassroots political mobilisation in Bauchi State.
Sani Danaudi Mohammed further commended the State leadership for its continued engagement with the APC leadership and its determination to develop practical strategies capable of delivering electoral success for the party in 2027.
He stressed that the Movement remains committed to working collectively towards the victory of the APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar SAN, President Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, and all other APC candidates across the various elective positions in Bauchi State.
According to him, achieving this objective requires a united, coordinated, and functional grassroots structure that can effectively mobilise voters, communicate the party’s programmes and vision, and sustain political engagement in every ward and community.
The City Boy Movement has therefore resolved to replicate this model of strategic coordination and grassroots engagement across all Local Government Areas and wards of Bauchi State.
The task ahead is to ensure that every structure is functional, every Coordinator understands his or her responsibility, and every community is effectively reached and mobilised ahead of the 2027 elections.
He stressed that, “With unity of purpose, disciplined leadership, strategic planning, and sustained engagement with the people, the Movement is determined to play a significant role in delivering massive electoral support and victory for the APC, while contributing to the success of President Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu , the APC Gubernatorial Candidate Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar SAN, and other party candidates across Bauchi State.”
