The Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Taraba state Abubakar Umar Tutare has unveiled a five point Agenda for the Development of the State if elected Governor in 2027.

Speaking with our reporter in Jalingo the ADC Governorship Candidate Abubakar Tutare said his five key development plan are in Human Capital Development, Infrastructural Development, Agriculture, Education and Tourism which encompasses all aspects of developments in Taraba State.

The candidate categorically Stated that he is starting the Development of Taraba State from the scratch because noting has been done since it’s creation in 1999.

“Is there anything that has been done since the creation of the State that you are asking me whether there is something different that I will do if elected? To my own understanding, believed and knowledge Taraba State has been rendered as a glorious Local Government not as a State and there are somany things to do as nothing has been done” Tutare said.

He noted that infrastructurally, educationally, agriculturally and even in Tourism in which Taraba State is highly blessed the State is far backward and so there are somany things to be done that have not been done at all.

In a video that went virile on the Social Media Abubakar Tutare likened the the present Administration of Governor Agbu Kefas in Taraba State to that of the immediate passed Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku where lucrative contracts were awarded only to outsiders leaving the people of the State in abject poverty adding that if elected the resources of the State will be used to develop the State and it’s people.

“We are about five Candidates drumming for the office of the Taraba State Governor in 2027 I want to believe that Tarabans know what they want and the type of person they want to Governed them I believe they are going to elect a reasonable person committed to development, a person who can relief them from their hardships and give them a leeway for survival economically.

“I intend to provide access roads from the State to all the Local Goverments and rural Communities where you produced crops you cannot transport home or to the Markets due to lack of roads and to make Jalingo the State capital to really look like a State capital with modern infrastructure and good roads to access your villages and farm very easily” Tutare said.

Commenting on the pattern of election in the State which is tilted towards religious and ethnic inclination since the creation of the State, the Governorship Candidate bares his mind.

“I am one person who does not believe in religious or tribal politics and as long as we are going align ourselves.to tribe or religion we will never develop, we have seen it if religious and tribal politics has helped us we have seen it if it didn’t helped us we have seen it too, but to me and to my own understanding religious and tribal politics did not help us in any way” the politician maintained.

Abubakar Umar Tutare urged Tarabans to vote for credibility and experience, a person who has Taraba State at heart and committed to the development of the State, some one who has grown in the State and not to bring outsiders who does not even have the State at heart to rule.
