The General Overseer of Bible Base and Miracle Assembly, Rev. Jerry Nwachukwu, has advised Nigerians not to lose hope inspite of the worsening situations of things in the country, assuring that Nigeria cannot continue on this downward trend.

Speaking on Saturday at Asaba , Delta State capital branch of the church during a ministration,Rev.Dr. Nwachukwu advised Christians not to allow the prevailing corruptive tendencies in the country to change their testimony.

He lamented that Nigeria has become so corrupt that anybody who is not corrupt as well would not get anything significant.

But he reminded christians that God is a paymaster who would reward everybody accordingly.

Rev.Nwachukwu expressed optimism that one day, God would do something that would turn around the fortunes of Nigeria.
Nigeria, he said, is the only country where lawmakers celebrate corruption by announcing on air during their sitting that something bas been posted into their boxes to celebrate their break.

Stating the popular maxim “that “if you must go to equity, you must go with clean hands” , Rev. Nwachukwu said that corruption is not only when one steal public money but also has to do with attitude.

He said if as a christian you cannot do what you suppose to do except money exchange hands, then you are corrupt and unfaithful to God.
“If you are a wife and cannot sleep with your husband except he pays you, and go for another man outside, you are corrupt” said Rev. Nwachukwu.

He lamented that some people are so wicked and callous that they always do something for other people to suffer, stating: “believers should bring solutions to situations.Don’t do things to condemn yourself before others. The life of a believer impacts on all.You must do something to impact others”.

The cleric expressed his disgust with the hypocrisy of United States of America (USA) Government over Nigerian democracy especially Bola Tinubu’s Chicago University certificate saga.
