Adamawa Governor, Fintiri observes Eid-el-Fitr prayer in Yola

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Monday joined thousands of other Muslims to observe the twenty twenty two Eid-El-Fitr celebration, which marks the end of one month Ramadan fast.
The Governor observe the two raka’at prayers at the Yola Eid ground alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who doubles as Waziri Adamawa, Speaker State Assembly (rtd), Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, SSG Bashir Ahmad, and the Galadima of Adamawa Alhaji Mustafa Aminu, among others.
Speaking in an interview shortly after observing the Eid prayers, Governor Umaru Fintiri, congratulated Muslims in Adamawa for a successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast.
In a statement made available to Apex News Exclusive by Muhammad Tukur, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, the Governor advised Muslim Ummah to use the lessons learned during the spiritual exercise to champion the course of peaceful coexistence and love for development of Adamawa and Nigeria.
On the 2023 General elections, Governor Fintiri called on the people to extend the lessons learnt during Ramadan by respecting one another before during and after the elections.
The Chief Imam of Modibbo Adama Central Mosque Yola, Khadi Amadu Bobboi led the two raka’at prayers offered special prayers after presenting the Eid Sermon.
