Harvest of killings continue as Irigwe nation laments

The killings in IRikwe in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State continued as Rigwe-Chongu village of Kwall District was attacked last night alledgedly by Fulani militiamen.
In the attack where three were killed, valuable items including food were destroyed by the attackers; who set the community ablaze, umbrella body of the Irigwe nation disclosed in its recent security alert information.
Apart from the three deaths, one of the soldiers stationed around the area also lost his live with one person injured.
According to Davidson Malison, National Publicity Secretary, Irigwe Developed Association, (IDA), in a statement, several “houses were razed down, many food barns were destroyed, harvested food were burnt down, uncountable number of domestic animals were carted away and other valuable items stolen”
Among the deaths are Markus Audu (Alaska)-41, Yah Hwenke (2Pac)- 42 and Amus Kanga-61.
Though the statement added that the inventory of the carnage was not conclusive, he said the IDA was still taking stock and final detail would be released in due course.
