Kebbi Governor, Idris, Bala Lau, other prominent Nigerians attend funeral prayer of Sheikh Giro

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, National Chairman, Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, Senator Aliyu Wamako and other prominent Nigerians attended the funeral prayer of late Sheik Abubakar Giro Argungu who died on Tuesday.
Sheikh Lau led the funeral prayer in Argungu town of Kebbi State with many other distinguished Nigerians in attendance.
Lau prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the funeral, Governor Idris urged to his immediate family members, people of Argungu, Kebbi and the entire Muslim Ummah to take heart and accept the will of God in good faith.
He described the deceased as a humble, honest and religious person who stood firm in promoting Islam.
Idris observed that JIBWIS and Muslim community would never forget the active contributions of the deceased towards the propagation of islam in Nigeria and beyond.
