NCPC boss, Rev. Pam calls on Nigeria, Plateau governments to intervene in Bassa security situation

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam has called on both the Federal and Plateau state government to intervene in the security situation in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state.
He made this known in Kwall, Bassa Local Government on 24th April, 2022 during a courtesy visit to the Honourable Member representing Jos North and Bassa Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Musa Agah.
The NCPC helmsman affirmed it was high time the appropriate government handled the security situation in Bassa Local Government.
He explained that the fragile security situation in the area had put fears in the minds of the people, especially farmers who could no longer go to their farms .
He also enjoined the youths of the local government to organize themselves very well by forming a local security network that would help to maintain peace in the area .
The NCPC boss congratulated the newly elected Honourable Member of the Green Chambers for his victory at the recent bye election conducted in his Constituency.
He further thanked God for saving him and his wife from the hands of bandits.
Rev Pam admonished him to be fearless and bold because “greater is he that is in him than he that is in the world “.
He affirmed,”you will continue to overcome and be victorious”. He noted that life is full of trials, but God will see you through”
Speaking, Hon Musa Agah thanked the NCPC boss for coming to congratulate him and commiserate with him.
He described the NCPC boss as a “leader with so many caps; very detribilized statesman”. He further appreciated him for demonstrating leadership and maturity.
He noted that the visit of the NCPC boss had comforted and strengthen them.
The newly elected member of the House of Representatives stated that the country had degenerated to a level where all the communities are vulnerable.
He called on the NCPC boss to use his good offices to speak truth to power because according to him, “a lot of things must be done.”
Hon Agah reaffirmed his confidence on the NCPC boss, stating that his noble efforts had given them reasons to celebrate him.
He averred that Bassa Local Government of Plateau state is under siege.
