NCPC Executive Secretary Bishop Adegbite commends staff for achieving much in 100 days

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite has confessed that anything achieved since he assumed office was with the unalloyed support of staffers.
He said the staff have been very supportive since his assumption of duty as the 4th substantive Executive Secretary on 5 February, 2024.
Bishop Adegbite made the remarks in Abuja Tuesday at a ceremony at NCPC corporate headquarters to mark his 100 days in office.
The Executive Secretary assured staff he will never take them for granted and they would rejoice with his administration.
As a sign gratitude, Bishop Adegbite announced monetary appreciation to all categories of staff from between N50,000 to N10,000 for Directors to security of the Commission.

He spoke about the pilgrimages to Israel noting that the Israeli Ministry of Internal Affairs has forwarded a letter to the Nigerian Government assuring that the crisis in Gaza won’t affect pilgrimages.
According to him, pilgrimages to Israel will commence in June stressing that Easter pilgrimage begins from April to July each year while the Main pilgrimages are from November to February.
Bishop Adegbite praised Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for sponsoring over 1000 pilgrims in 2023 with the NCPC making him coordinating Governor of governors concerning Christian pilgrimages.
The Executive Secretary also thanked President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima among others for making it possible for achieving so much in 100 days.
Highlight of the event was a special edition of the Nigerian Pilgrim magazine and a new corporate slogan, “NCPC…Service and Satisfaction.”
