NDE DG hails resourcefulness of retired Director of procurement Aliyu Abubakar

The Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Silas Ali Agara, bid a fond farewell to Mal. Aliyu Abubakar, the retired Director of Procurement, after an impressive 35 years of meritorious service to the nation.

The ceremony held at the DG’s office in Abuja on Monday, January 6, 2025.

According to him, “I on behalf of management and staff of NDE acknowledged your resourcefulness and appreciates your wealth of experience during your time in office.

“I enjoin serving civil servants to be diligent in their duties to earn good reputation during and after service.”

Agara urged him to remain a good ambassador of the NDE.

In his response, Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar expressed satisfaction with his 35 years of service, particularly with the recent reforms and initiatives launched by Agara.

He praised Agara’s inclusive leadership style, which enabled him and other staff.

Staff of NDE urged the retired Director success in his future endeavours.
