Ndoma-Egba, ex-Senator mount campaign for Cross River to become APC

Two influential former Senators, Victor Ndoma-Egba and Prince Bassey Otu are leading campaign to lobby electorate and government leaders to join the national ruling party, All Progressives Congress.
Both spoke separately in their local communities where they had revalidated their names in the APC registers in the ongoing exercise.
At his political ward in Akparabong village in Ikom local government area, the former Senate leader Ndoma-Egba used the opportunity of his presence in village to inspect the various registration points and encouraged rural dwellers to identify with APC.
Ndoma-Egba noted that the registration and membership re-validation exercise of the party was a welcomed idea that is necessary to consolidate on cohesion in the party.
He suggested that the exercise should be made continuous and provisions made for it to be done online.
Also Speaking in Odukpani, Senator Prince Bassey Otu commended the exercise and called on Cross River people to come out in numbers and register in APC.
“Cross River State has no business being in the party that is opposition to the party at the center. APC is the party for Cross River State.”
