Senator Lalong condoles bereaved families in Jos
Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong has visited some bereaved families in Jos to console them over the death of their loved ones.
Senator Lalong was at the residence of former Chairman of the PDP in Plateau State Chief Maichibi Vwarji to commiserate with him over the death of his wife Mrs. Talatu Maichibi who recently passed on at 61.
He sympathised with the politician and asked him to take solace in the fact that she lived a productive life of service and purpose.
Senator Lalong thereafter visited the family of Miskoom Thomas Kangnaan to condole them over the demise of their daughter Nanpoe Kangnaan, a staff of the Industrial Training Fund Jos, who died at 46.
He asked the family to accept the untimely death of their daughter as the will of God and be consoled with her contributions to the family and society at large.
Senator Lalong also visited the family of Prof. David Pam Yakubu who lost his, Margaret wife recently.
He described her death as painful having fallen to the bullets of assailants while on a trip.
He commiserated with the family and asked them to be consoled by her legacy of love, compassion and service. He prayed that God will expose those behind her killing.
The former Plateau State Governor was also at the residence of retired Col. Sunday Kaswe to condole him over the loss of his wife.
He prayed God to grant her eternal rest and forgive her sins.
In their separate responses, the bereaved families thanked Senator Lalong for his compassion and words of comfort, describing him as a leader that cares.
They prayed that God will guide him and continue to help him record more achievements in his endeavours.
