Taraba government pledges readiness to meet workers’ demands

Taraba State Governor, Darius Dickson Ishaku has pledged his administration readiness to meeting the worker’s demands in the state.
The Governor who was Represented by his Deputy Haruna Manu stated during the May Day celebration at the Jolly Nyame stadium, Jalingo.
The Governor explained that his administration appreciate the cordial working relationship the organised labour and workers have accorded him since assumption of office in 2015.
He promised to ensure retired local government workers who are yet to be captured for their benefits.
He remarked that in his quest to reduce joblessness in the society many youths have been injected into the mainstream of the civil service in Taraba state.
Earlier,the State Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC), Peter Jediel asked the government to considering the implementation of the national N30, 000 minimum wage in the state.
