Taraba Governor Kefas flags off construction of 60 new schools in fulfilment of free education policy

Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas has flagged off the construction of sixty new schools across the state in fulfilment of his free education policy.
Flagging off the project at the Government Comprehensive Secondary School in Jalingo, Governor Kefas reaffirmed the commitments of his administration towards providing conducive learning environment for students throughout the State.
He expressed the desire of his Government in providing outstanding facilities for the the success of the free Education Policy for pupils and students to compete.
In her comments, Taraba State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Augustina Godwin, described the school construction project as a significant milestone saying that the education sector is dedicated to realizing the vision of the Governor in rebuilding schools across Taraba State.
Chairman of the Schools Building Committee, Barrister Emmanuel Njoku said the Schools which will be constructed with hydrofoarm bricks will be prioritized to meet the expectations of the Governor.
Highlights of the occasion was the planting of of tree at the School premises by the Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas in support of the campaign by the State Ministry of Environment and Climate Change against deforestation supported by the Commissioner of of the Ministry, Aishat Barde.
