NCDC congratulates Professor Nuhu on appointment as chairman NIEVS research, development committee
The North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has congratulated the Executive Director, Finance, Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu, FNIVS, on his appointment as Chairman of the Research and Development Committee of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIEVS) for the 2026–2027 Council year.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Commission, Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, conveyed the congratulatory message on behalf of the Governing Board, Management and Staff of the NCDC.
Dr. Tsenyil described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Prof. Nuhu’s outstanding contributions to the estate surveying and valuation profession, as well as his accomplishments in the academic community.
He expressed confidence in Prof. Nuhu’s capacity to bring his wealth of experience, knowledge and professional expertise to bear on the new assignment, while encouraging him to remain committed to excellence and continue delivering on the responsibilities entrusted to him.
The NCDC Chief Executive said the Commission is proud of Prof. Nuhu’s achievement and will continue to support him in the discharge of his professional responsibilities. He noted that the Commission also looks forward to benefiting from the knowledge, innovations and value that the new assignment will generate, particularly in areas relevant to research, development and sustainable regional growth.
Dr. Tsenyil wished Prof. Nuhu a successful and impactful tenure, assuring him of the continued support and goodwill of the Governing Board, Management and Staff of the Commission.
