Senator Lalong felicitates with Registrar Federal Poly Nyak-Shendam, Chief Maqual at 60

The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Simon Bako Lalong, has felicitated with the Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Nya’k-Shendam, Chief Michael Maqual, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

Senator Lalong described the milestone as a significant moment to celebrate a man who has devoted considerable years to the development of education, youth leadership and human capacity in Plateau State and beyond.

The former Governor recalled Chief Maqual’s contributions to the growth and development of young people, particularly during his years as a student leader and his subsequent service in various capacities within the education sector, including serving as Honorary Special Adviser during the Rescue Administration.

He commended him for his commitment to mentoring young people, providing guidance and demonstrating exemplary leadership, particularly through his involvement with the Larger House and the Plateau Youth Council over the years.

Senator Lalong said Chief Maqual’s passion for education and youth development has continued to distinguish him as a dependable community leader and public servant whose contributions have positively impacted many lives.

He further acknowledged his current role as Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Nya’k-Shendam, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience, administrative competence and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the repositioning and advancement of the institution.

The Senator prayed that Almighty God will grant Chief Maqual many more years in good health, wisdom, joy and happiness, while giving him the strength and grace to continue serving humanity and contributing to the educational and socio-economic development of Plateau State.

He wished Chief Michael Maqual a happy 60th birthday and many more fulfilling years ahead.
