Senator Lalong celebrates former SSG, Professor Atu at 67, hails his contributions to governance, society
Senator Lalong described Prof. Atu as an accomplished scholar, seasoned administrator and social development expert whose contributions to governance, academia and society have continued to make a positive impact.
The Senator recalled the invaluable service rendered by Prof. Atu while serving as Secretary to the Government of Plateau State during the Rescue Administration, noting that his wealth of experience, administrative competence and commitment to duty contributed significantly to the smooth running of government business and the promotion of bureaucratic efficiency.
He said Prof. Atu played an important role in ensuring effective coordination of government activities and translating the administration’s policies and programmes into practical outcomes for the benefit of the people of Plateau State.
Lalong noted that the celebrant’s accomplishments in public service and academia reflect his dedication to knowledge, institutional development and the advancement of society.
The former Governor encouraged Prof. Atu to sustain his contributions to national development by continuing to mentor younger generations through his academic engagements, intellectual contributions and participation in political and public affairs.
He expressed confidence that the celebrant’s experience, knowledge and wealth of ideas would continue to inspire emerging leaders and contribute to building a more productive, peaceful and prosperous society.
Senator Lalong wished Prof. Atu good health, renewed strength, greater accomplishments and many more years of meaningful service to humanity as he celebrates his 67th birthday.
