FG introduces price dictator check corruption in procurement processes

In a bid to check corruption in the procurement process, the Federal Government has a price checking mechanism platform to allow wastages.
The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun made the remark on Friday in a message at a two-day sensitization workshop in Lokoja. The workshop is on “Price checker and e-procurement.”
It is organised by the Efficiency Unit of the Federal Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) for procurement officers from Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the North Central Zone.
She said that the federal government will soon introduce the platform to ensure efficiency, curb corruption and wastages in government procurement processes.
Adeosun was represented by Technical Assistant/Head of Efficiency Unit, by Mr Mike Ibiam.
The workshops have been held across all the geo-political zones of the country.
