UK-Nigeria business transactions hit £4.1b in last quarter of 2021

The business transaction between Nigeria and the United Kingdom hit £4.1billion at the end of Q4 2021.
This was made known by the Chairman, British African Business Alliance, Mr. David Smith on a Channels TV programme Channels Business Global monitored by Apex News Exclusive in Abuja Saturday.
He said the amount represented various business sections of the economy and the figure might be higher in the Q1 of 2022.
Mr. Smith pointed out that the UK is keen at maintaining its business commitments with Nigeria.
According to him, Diaspora remittances from UK to Nigeria is huge as there are an estimated 2 million Nigerians living in Britain.
The Chairman also advised that there should more Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) developments in Nigeria and Africa for more earnings.
