The commendation was contained in a statement signed by Khalid Hassan Arewa, Secretary of IPAC, issued to Journalists in Bauchi on Thursday.

IPAC wrote, “First and foremost, we give glory to God Almighty for the peaceful conduct of the election across the 20 LGAs of our dear state. It was peaceful and well attended by the eligible voters.”

According to IPAC, “This victory and the level playing ground given to all participating parties is a clear testament to the political inclusiveness and democratic disposition of the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.”

It added, “By carrying opposition parties along and ensuring that BSIEC was allowed to operate independently, the Governor has shown that he believes in true democracy where every voice counts, regardless of party affiliation.”

It added, “On behalf of the 15 political parties under IPAC that participated in this election, we say a big thank you to the Governor for providing the enabling environment for a credible, free and fair election.”

IPAC also appreciated Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission (BASIEC) for its professionalism, the security agencies for maintaining peace, and the good people of Bauchi State for coming out to vote peacefully.

IPAC Bauchi State assured that it remains committed to partnering with the government to deepen democracy, strengthen institutions, and deliver good governance at the grassroots.
