Governor Obaseki
The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has approved the release of N700 million counterpart funds for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programme in the state.
The governor made this known Friday in Benin when the Manager, UNICEF-WASH programme, Michael Forson, led other officials on a courtesy call.
He said government was committed to the programme and work with UNICEF-WASH to integrate all water-related developments in the state.
Forson commended the governor for his administration’s commitment to inclusive development and facilitating the project in the state.
